m/s "VEENDAM IV"
Holland America Line

The Veendam is the second Holland America Line ship whose art placement was awarded to Enterprise & Art.

Tim Maguire, famed for his monumental floral paintings, makes the four murals for the Dining Room on this ship. One of the new art locations on board is the ceiling at the Ocean Bar entrance, for which Wout Muller paints a magnificent star-spangled sky depicting signs of the Zodiac. Former students of his at the Minerva Academy in Groningen, Frank Lisser and Peter Hartwig, each make a triptych for the Puzzle Area. The stairwell is enlivened by two monumental water colors by the renowned Chinese painter Walasse Ting.

Enterprise & Art installs the majority of the pieces itself on board the ship while it is under construction at the Venice Fincantieri shipyards.
