Contemporary Delft Blue by Hugo Kaagman for P&O North Sea Ferries.

For the festive launch of the two new P&O cruise-ferries, Pride of Rotterdam and Pride of Hull, in 2001, artist Hugo Kaagman designs two modern versions of famous Delft Blue wall bowls. The bowls are presented to all invited to attend the launch. Kaagman also contributed two paintings placed on board of both ships while passengers can admire, along the on-ramp to the car-deck, four more man-high art objects made by his design.
